A Wi-Fi card for guests
Choose Wi-Fi, type the network name and password, keep WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security and print the code. Guests point their phone camera at it and join without typing the password.
Make a QR code that works forever: the content is stored in the code itself, with no redirect service in between. Share Wi-Fi with guests, link to a menu or put your contact card on a poster.
Free, no sign-up. Runs in your browser: nothing is uploaded.
Your files are opened and processed by your browser on this device. They are never uploaded to openWorkstand or anyone else, so the QR Code Generator is safe for contracts, IDs, photos and work documents, and it keeps working offline once the page has loaded. How local processing works
Choose Wi-Fi, type the network name and password, keep WPA/WPA2/WPA3 security and print the code. Guests point their phone camera at it and join without typing the password.
Choose Contact and fill in your name, phone, email and company. Scanning the code offers to save you as a new contact.
Codes are static: the link is stored in the code itself and never expires. Point it at a page you control, so you can change what it shows without reprinting.
Keep strong contrast (dark code on a light background), leave a white border around it, and make it at least 2 cm (about 1 inch) wide when printed. A large logo can hide too much of the code.
Check that it is one of the supported formats above and opens in another app. Damaged files and password-protected PDFs cannot be read until they are repaired or unlocked.
Everything runs on your device, so speed depends on its memory. Close other tabs, use a computer rather than a phone, or split the file into smaller parts first.
Look for your browser’s download bar or icon. Some browsers ask once before a site may download files; allow it and click the button again.
No. They are static codes: the data is inside the image, so they work as long as the link or content they point to exists.
Yes. The error correction level is raised automatically so the code stays readable with a logo in the middle.
Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark, no daily limit and no paid plan. openWorkstand is paid for by a few ads on its public pages.
After you download, choose “Save to Workstand” to keep the result in a folder on your computer, attach it to a project and create a follow-up task. It is saved by your browser, not uploaded.
